Paired Vision

‘Paired’ began out of observations made whilst traveling in Normandie, France. I chanced upon a rusty door that resembled the cow I had photographed moments earlier, or did the cow look like a rusty door I had seen earlier, but not remembered?

Pairing these together for an exhibition led to other pairings of work I had from trips I’d done previously. ‘Paired’ has led me to other explorations in fractional observations like ‘FilmMosaics’ the portrait series.
